Last updated: 25 July 2026

Who we are

Unitas Hub is a trading name of Unitas Global Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Unitas Global Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data collected from:

  • Visitors to unitas-hub.com
  • Prospects who book a demo or request information via the contact form
  • Existing clients of the Unitas Hub service

What we collect

Website visitors

Basic analytics (anonymised) about how the site is used. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Prospects

Information submitted through the contact form:

  • Name
  • Company
  • Email
  • Phone, if provided
  • Company size
  • Sector
  • Business context shared in the form

Clients

Information needed to provision and run your Unitas Hub instance:

  • Billing details
  • Technical contacts
  • Business data stored inside your Hub

The data stored inside your Hub belongs to the client. Unitas Hub acts as the processor, not the controller.

How we use it

To:

  • Respond to enquiries
  • Deliver and support the Unitas Hub service
  • Meet legal and contractual obligations

We do not:

  • Sell your data
  • Share your data unnecessarily

Data is only shared with sub-processors required to operate the service:

  • Hosting infrastructure
  • Payment processing
  • Domain registration

Legal bases for processing

Under UK GDPR we rely on:

  • Consent — for website analytics, live chat, and marketing email you have opted into. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — for responding to enquiries and keeping our systems secure.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver the Unitas Hub service you have engaged us for.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain records for tax, accounting or regulatory purposes.

Social media platform integrations (Hub Social)

Hub Social lets us schedule and publish social media content on behalf of clients who authorise it. This section explains what that involves.

  • Platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Pinterest and Telegram. Only platforms a client chooses to connect are used.
  • Authorisation: a connection is only created when the account holder signs in to that platform themselves and grants permission through the platform's own authorisation screen. We never ask for, store, or use social media passwords. Permission can be revoked at any time and the connection stops working immediately.
  • What we access: the account identifier and profile or page name, the ability to publish content created by or for the account holder, comments on that account's own posts where comment management is enabled, and engagement statistics for that account's own posts.
  • What we do not access: private messages unless separately enabled, other users' personal data, follower lists, or any account that has not authorised us.
  • Storage and retention: platform access tokens are held on our own servers in the UK and EU, isolated per client, and deleted when an account is disconnected or the client relationship ends. Published post records are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Earlier deletion can be requested at any time by emailing hello@unitas-global.com.
  • We never sell or share social media platform data, never use it for advertising or profiling, and never use it to train machine learning models.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion where applicable
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing
  • Request a copy of your data

Requests should be sent to: hello@unitas-global.com

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to:

  • Deliver the service
  • Meet legal obligations
  • Maintain financial and operational records

Client infrastructure backups are retained according to the agreed backup policy.

Where your data is held

Our infrastructure is located in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

Unitas Hub uses:

  • Security infrastructure
  • SSL encryption
  • Access controls
  • Isolated databases
  • Backup systems

No internet-connected service can ever be guaranteed 100% secure, but reasonable technical and organisational measures are implemented to protect data.

Cookies

This website uses a minimal set of cookies, and only with your consent. Essential cookies required for the page to function, anonymised analytics, and live chat if you engage with it. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind. If you decline, no analytics or chat data is collected.
